Quality Assurance Guarantee

The quality and craftsmanship of our metal framed light displays are guaranteed for one year unless damage occurs through carelessness of the customer. An example would be storage - (If a critter or pet chews your cord it is not covered under the guarantee). Should you receive your item, and there is a defect in the product itself, we will accept your return and credit your original form of payment or replace the item if it is available. Please open and inspect your item(s) upon arrival as returns must be made in a timely manner and in accordance with our return policy stated below. Manufacturer’s statement regarding average rated life hours does not imply that this is a warranty or guarantee.  

We are not responsible for any damage incurred during shipping. 

Lights are specific to each design and may not be interchangeable due to differing voltages. Should you choose to change colors of bulbs and the string goes out, this will void the warranty and we are not responsible to replace the display or the light string. 


Christmas Cottage Lights accepts the following forms of payment; Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and PayPal. In the event, we are unable to receive authorization from your credit card company, we will contact you at the phone number you provide. If, after several attempts, we are unable to contact you at the number you provide, your order will be cancelled. Only authorized transaction items will ship.


Shipping Policies

Shipping is charged at a fixed rate to the continental United States. Items are shipped FED EX ground for most of our shipments, as we have found this to be the most economical method to ship.  

Expect 3-5 business days for delivery within the continental United States. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii 

Large pieces may need to be shipped by freight truck LTL.  Truck freight will be noted in the product description. Please note, truck freight may take longer to arrive. 

Truck freight or expedited freight service can be set up by calling (888) 730-4175 to get a quote.

At this time, we do not ship Internationally.  

Christmas Cottage Lights is not responsible for any damage displays incur during shipping.

Addresses are, clearly, displayed and secured to your shipments. They are displayed exactly as you write them on your order. We are not responsible for any errors made by the trucking companies regarding delivery.

Most trucking companies do call our customers prior to delivering freight. Please note we are not responsible if a driver does not call prior to delivering. 


If you choose to cancel your order with Christmas Cottage Lights, and do so prior to the items being shipped, there will be no charge. If the item(s) departed the warehouse, the customer is responsible for the shipping fees to the order destination and back to Christmas Cottage Lights. Should a shipment be refused upon delivery, the customer will be charged the return shipping fee and charged a 15% restocking fee. A return authorization code is required for any, and all, returns. The return authorization code must be, clearly, written on the outside of the box.

Damage or Defective

If an item is received damaged in shipping or defective, Christmas Cottage Lights must be notified within 5 days of receipt, so a return authorization code/label can be issued to you. You are required to return the item within 14 days of receiving a return label. After 14 days, you are no longer eligible to receive a refund or replacement. If a light string does not light, you will need to send a photo to us via our contact page so the issue can be assessed. In most cases, the unlit light string is returned, and a replacement is sent. The phone number for returns is 888-730-4175.                        Christmas Cottage Lights is NOT responsible for items damaged in shipping. 

All other returns

If returning an item(s) for any reason, other than the afore mentioned, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to pay the return shipping fees and a 15% restocking fee will be charged to you. Your original form of payment will be credited upon receipt of the item. We do not refund shipping and handling fees. Please note: Item must be returned within 14 days after receiving an authorization code/return label. In NO case will returns be accepted after the holidays.
